| Charles N. Fortes Magnet Academy -As one of only two Providence Schools designated as a site-based managed school, Charles N. Fortes Magnet Academy opened its doors in 1997 to children who live in the West End of Providence. Today there are over 500 students in grade pre-Kindergarten through grade five, and there are 12 regular education classrooms, six bilingual classrooms as well as bilingual pre-Kindergarten and bilingual special education for grades one and two. |
