Mount Pleasant High School- Mount Pleasant High School was founded in 1938 and features five academies: Business and Finance, Computer Information, Health and Science, Teacher, and Travel and Tourism.

Mount Pleasant Branch Library- The predecessor of the Mount Pleasant Branch, Sprague House, opened on December 1, 1906 as the first branch of the Providence Public Library. Library service continued to be provided from this location until the new Mt. Pleasant Branch opened on June 28, 1949 at its present site; an addition was dedicated in 1968.
