ANALYZING YOUR ACTIVITY PATTERNS
Apr 27 (Group Representative continuing Apr 30 & May 2 for Forum May 4)
INTRODUCTION (5 min)
For our final class, we are going to ask some questions about your activity patterns.
You will use your own geocoded data in the GIS to answer these questions, which should
help you analyze the data and determine patterns and trends.
We will first go over some basic skills in GIS that you can use to ask questions of your
activity data. Then the class will break into three groups to answer three sets of questions
that will help you analyze your activity patterns, eating habits, and use of transportation.
Each group is responsible for sharing their findings with the other two groups.
Representatives from each group will have the opportunity to present their findings and
what they have learned at a forum to be held at URI Kingston on Thursday, May 4
