Each
Student is responsible for:
One map related to the overall group topic.
Include:
- Map
elements (legend, scale bar, title, north arrow)
- Clear, easy to read layout
- Effective colors and graphics
One two-page write-up

- How did you make your map?
- Talk
about your methodology (What data did you use?
What did you do to the data?)
- What
does this map explain?

Based on this map, what changes would you recommend to make
- What have you learned?

What was your favorite part of the GIS class?
Each Group is
responsible for:
One poster about your topic
Include:
- The individual map everyone in your
group made.
- Pictures, text, or other elements to enhance your
poster.
- Your names, printed clearly, for credit!
- An
outline or power point summarizing your
group’s work.
This will be handy for…
One 20-minute presentation at the December 12th Forum at URI
Talk about:
-Your maps, what they prove, how they were made
-Your topic, write-up, recommendations and projections
-What it was like taking the class (GIS and other pieces)
